Obituary for Mark Theodore Jockenhoefer

Mark Theodore Jockenhoefer, 59 entered into eternal rest on March 14, 2017 in Pasadena, Texas. He was born on September 28, 1957 in St. Louis, Missouri to John Fredrick Jockenhoefer and Nancy Ann Boaz.
Mark served ten years in the US Navy and after an honorable discharge he entered the workforce. For the last 24 years he has worked for Union Pacific Railroad as a Road Electrician. He has lived in La Porte for 14 years with his wife Sharon, whom he married in Pasadena, TX on January 30, 2000. Mark loved working for the railroad and carried that to his off time with his model trains. He also had a passion for motorcycles and enjoyed raising and watching all types of birds, from McCaws' to Parakeets He was a devoted husband, a great father and Grandpa.

Mark is preceded by his parents, Nancy Ann Boaz Jockenhoefer and John Fredrick Jockenhoefer

He is survived by his loving wife, Sharon Kay Bailey Jones Jockenhoefer; his children: Mark Zachariah Jockenhoefer, Jessica Bailey and husband Andrew, Elisha Jockenhoefer and wife Richauna, Anna Gunn and husband Ian and Treece Nichole Jockenhoefer; his step-children: Richard Jones, Christopher Jones, Laura Saravia and husband Marlon.

He also leaves his grandchildren to carry on his legacy: Savannah Rusk, Isaiah Forcada, Nayeli Saravia, Marlon Saravia, Cayden Roach, Ezekiel Gunn, James Jockenhoefer, Richard Jockenhoefer, Elisha Jockenhoefer and William Jones.

His siblings: Marie Lorraine (Lori), Katherine Marie (Kay), and Matthew Luke (Matt) and even his pets: Queeny and Custer will miss him terribly, along with many extended family and friends.
