Obituary for Donald Joe Palermo

Donald Joe Palermo, 58

Donald Joe Palermo was born on October 9, 1958, in Houston, Texas, along with twin brother, Ronald, to Anthony Palermo and Mary Alice Randolph. Donald unexpectedly passed away at his residence on March 27, 2017 in La Porte, Texas. He was a loving brother, uncle, and friend.

Donald was resident to La Porte, Hallettsville, and Pasadena, Texas. He was a graduate of La Porte High School and was a very skilled carpenter and mechanic. There wasn’t anything Donald couldn’t build or take apart and put back together. Donald had a huge passion for music and had volumes upon volumes of CDs he had put together for himself, family and friends. Some of his favorites were Neil Young, all the Classic Rock bands, and the 70/80/90/2000 Modern Rock Bands.

Although Donald never married, he was very content with life and was a very modest and private man. Donald was a believer in Jesus Christ and never bragged about a job well done. He was always willing to help anyone that needed without expecting anything in return. Donald always seemed to overcome every obstacle thrown his way and was always looking on the bright side of things.

Donald is preceded in death by his parents, Anthony Palermo, and Mary Alice Randolph.

Donald is survived by brothers, Anthony Palermo; Wife Carol, Jim Palermo; Wife Terry, Ronald Palermo; Wife Michelle, and sisters, Lorna Roubieu; Husband Paul, Elizabeth Simpson, Mary Palermo, Madaleen Palermo, and Kathaleen Palermo.

Donald is also survived by 11 nieces, 14 nephews, 18 great nieces and 19 great nephews.
