Obituary for Dick Arthur "Skip" Wood Jr.

Dick Arthur Wood “Skip”, Jr. was born January 16, 1951 in San Diego, California to Dick Arthur Wood, Sr. and
Delores (Daughty) Wood. 

Skip grew up in Deer Park, Texas and worked in the Chemical plants (Lyondell Basell) He worked in the plants until he decided to follow his dream and opened his own C.B. Shop “Outlaws Toy Radio C. B. Shop”.

He met and married Patricia Whitehorn on December 31, 1981  and together they raised a son, Anthony. He enjoyed many volunteer activities including Special Olympics, “React”, March of Dimes and Red Cross efforts. Skip also loved to fish and enjoyed the outdoors.  True to his giving nature, Skip donated his earthly body to science so that others may live. 

Skip is preceded in death by his parents.  He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Patricia Wood and son, Anthony Wood. He also leaves his brothers and sisters, nieces, nephews and many friends that became his family.
