John Nelson, Jr., 22, of La Porte, TX earned his eternal wings on December 3, 2018 in a car accident. John worked at Malone Electric as an Electrician. He loved his job and the people he worked with.

John was born in Galveston, TX on June 20, 1996, but shortly thereafter moved to La Porte where he resided the rest of his life. John played football in La Porte. He started as a La Porte Cowboy and finished as a Bulldog with the high school. He earned several scholarships for football and chose to go to TSU. He also helped coach youth football and baseball. John was simple young man who loved being around his family and friends. He loved to laugh and make others laugh. He had a heart of gold. His smile lit up a room. He was fun loving, respectful and he brought joy into everyone’s life.

John was loyal to his family and friends. He will be deeply missed by all that knew him. John was the treasured son of Margarita Rene and John Nelson and Amanda and John Beasley. His loving siblings; Jo’el Nelson, Trenton Wolfe, Alecia and Kaleb Hord, Madison Wolfe, Kailie Beasley, Jayden Garcia, Nikita Nelson, Lee Nelson. He has so many aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and friends; they would take pages to mention. He was loved by everyone that knew him and he will be greatly missed.
