Arlin Keith Gulley, 30 of Baytown, TX was a Hero to the Last. He was tragically killed Dec 5, 2013 as he pushed his disabled car from harm’s way protecting his wife and child. He will be forever remembered for his generous nature and the love he had for his family and friends. We are celebrating Arlin’s life on Tuesday, December 10 from 5 to 8PM at Stepping Stone Funeral Home, 215 S. Broadway, La Porte, TX. 281-867-9333. Life Story for Arlin Keith Gulley
Arlin Keith Gulley, 30 of Baytown, TX was a Hero to the Last. He was tragically killed Dec 5, 2013 as he pushed his disabled car from harm’s way protecting his wife and child. He will be forever remembered for his generous nature and the love he had for his family and friends.
Arlin was born in San Antonio, TX January 31, 1983 to Lorrie (Franklin) and Charles Gulley.
Arlin met the love of his life Amy in high school and for 15 years they have been inseparable. They were married September 19, 2007 and in May of 2011 their beautiful little boy, Aries was born.
Arlin spent 11, 266 days on this earth and made the most of every one. Adventurous, loving, a little crazy, Arlin lived life to the fullest. He served in the Army during the conflict in Afghanistan and thankfully arrived safely home. He was very proud of his military service.
Arlin is preceded in death by his Grandfathers: Randolph Franklin and John Gulley and uncles: John Cagle, Errol Gulley and Paul Gulley.
He is survived by his Wife Amy, and son Aries. His father Charles Gulley of Channelview, mother Lorrie Myers and husband Eugene of Baytown. Brother Dustin and partner Melissa, their children Jareth and Jaylee, of Mont Belvieu. Brother Storm and partner Shay, their child Jaycie of Webster. Grandparents Margarie Gulley of Livingston, Rosie Franklin of Comfort, TX, Betty Ann Myers of Winnie, TX and Eugene Myers, Sr of Jennings, LA. Arlin also leaves behind many friends who will miss him dearly.
