My Heritage
Very seldom does one ever come in contact with a true Angel. My life was blessed, I was raised by one. There is no sweeter sound than the words of comfort, praise, or acceptance she would utter to her family. My mother chose to always believe in us and lift us up. In right or wrong she stood by us all with unshakable faith that everything would always get better. She thought God blessed her beyond all with the family she has. And little did she know she was our blessing she loved us enough that we never gave up on ourselves or each other. I thought when my Dad passed he left me to take care of her and my kids so that no harm would ever befall them. No he left her to care for us so that when we were in dispaire she could lift us up and remind us we were strong enough to rise above all that came against us and be compasionat and humble as well as fierce and strong. She reminded us we had something worth fighting for each other. She reminded us that my dad kept us strong by keeping us together and that with us is where she found her strength as we found strength with in each other. It was when bad choices led to our division and we quit fighting for each other that division made us week and the world started to break us one by one. It hit her the hardest bringing us back together to fight for her. But when defeat seemed to overwhelm us and we realized we no longer had the strength we once did, division and dispaire took us once again. And due to our weakness God came and took her from the world that had left he lying broken and alone. He returned her the day before Valetines back to the one protector that never failed any of us, My Father, Mike Whittle. My Angel has been returned to heaven to forever be loved and protected by the warrior God entrusted her too. We are still are trying to find peace in knowing that things are gonna get better. Not everyone has descended down from an Angel and a Warrior. We will make the proud. The world will not break us Mom, Ask Dad. We will be ok! I love you bothbigger than the heavens and the earth!
